Terms of Service

Welcome to Opystore. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Opystore website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, browsing, or downloading any app or game through Opystore, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an Opystore account. If you are under 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Use of the Service

Opystore grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or redistribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

3. App & Game Listings

Every listing is scanned for malware prior to publication using Norton™, McAfee®, and Bitdefender® security engines. However, Opystore does not guarantee that any application is entirely free of defects, and we are not the developer of third-party apps listed on the platform. Ratings, reviews, and download counts are provided for informational purposes and may not reflect real-time figures.

4. User-Generated Content

By posting a review, rating, or comment, you grant Opystore a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the Service. You agree not to post content that is defamatory, abusive, infringing, or otherwise unlawful. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.

5. Developer Submissions

Developers submitting apps to Opystore represent that they own or have the necessary rights to the software, and that the software complies with applicable laws, does not contain malware, and does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property.

6. Payments & Refunds

Paid apps and games are billed at the price displayed at checkout, inclusive of applicable taxes. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted within 48 hours of purchase through our Contact Us page.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to distribute malware, violate intellectual property rights, harass other users, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or engage in any activity that disrupts the Service for others.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time via Account Settings or by contacting support.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Opystore shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any third-party application obtained through it.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be announced on this page.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

DMCA Policy

Opystore respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users and developers on our platform to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), we will respond promptly to properly submitted notices of alleged copyright infringement.

1. Filing a Takedown Notice

If you believe that content available through Opystore infringes a copyright you own, you may submit a written notice to our designated Copyright Agent that includes:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail (such as the app name or a direct link) for us to locate it.
• Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

2. Where to Send Notices

Copyright takedown notices should be sent to our Designated Agent at support@opystore.com. Incomplete notices may result in delays while we request the missing information.

3. Our Response

Upon receiving a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the identified content and notify the developer or user who submitted it. Repeat infringers may have their listings removed and their developer accounts suspended.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice containing your identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your district.

5. Restoration of Content

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may reinstate the content within 10–14 business days, unless the original complainant informs us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringer.

6. Good-Faith Notices Only

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages. Only submit a notice if you are certain the material infringes your rights.

Developer Registration Fee

To keep the developer program spam-free and fund malware scanning for every submitted app, Opystore charges a one-time $3 registration fee before you can create a developer profile.

Global Delivery

Apps and games are served through a fast, geographically distributed content delivery network, keeping download and update times low regardless of where a user is located.

Revenue Share

Opystore takes a transparent platform fee on paid app and in-app purchases, with the remainder paid out to developers on a monthly cycle. Full-free apps and ad-supported apps are never charged a listing fee.

Version Management

Developers can maintain multiple release tracks, roll out updates gradually to a percentage of users, and instantly halt a rollout if an issue is detected — all from the Developer Console.

Regional Availability

By default, apps are available worldwide. Developers can restrict availability to specific countries or regions to comply with local regulations or licensing agreements.

API Docs

The Opystore API gives developers programmatic access to app metadata, ratings, and publishing tools, so you can integrate Opystore data into your own tools and workflows.

Authentication

All API requests require an API key, available from the Developer Console under Settings → API Keys. Include your key as a Bearer token in the Authorization header of every request.

Core Endpoints

GET /v1/apps — list and search published apps, with filters for category, price, and rating.
GET /v1/apps/{id} — retrieve full metadata for a single app, including ratings and review summaries.
POST /v1/apps/{id}/reviews — submit a review on behalf of an authenticated user.
POST /v1/publish — upload a new build or update an existing listing.

Rate Limits

Standard developer accounts are limited to 600 requests per minute. Higher throughput is available for verified publishing partners — contact us to discuss your use case.
